the old 1.3 done well tho 150000 miles plus on the clock, suprised it boiled over but he did say the belt came off and that drives the water pump, glad its in good hands and getting the engine it deserves

yeh im so pleased he decided to fix it, as i had already saved it from the crusher once before and got rather attached to it, even it was just meant to be my runabout

been trying to sort some little niggles on my si over the last couple of weeks, put new sound deadening pieces on to the inner sill covers as i forgot to put them back on since the welding and having the sills pumped with wax and noticed it was louder inside than it use to be

also bought a ford escort gti estate boot floor which is a lot..lot thicker than the fiesta one
will also help improve some road noise from the back

fiesta carpet on top of escort one

cut to size and put in boot

also the rubbish bubble wrap in the pic is there to protect my strut brace from getting chipped when putting the pram in, and after a talk with sam watson he got a piece of foam tubing, i put it.on and looks a lot better

thats it for the moment still gotta do some measurement before ordering some hubcentric spacers for the front to solve the vibration problem, but other than that the si is running well
