Well after ordering my new head unit on the 9th I was happy to get in from work to see a parcel with my name on last Tuesday, Expected it to take a bit longer to be honest as I ordered it on a Sunday but happy days. Opened the package to have a look at it only to be disappointed cause they had send the wrong head unit out

So back in the wrapping it went ready to be posted back the next day. Speaking to them on the phone the next day I was told they didn't have the one I ordered in stock so I was offered a 10% discount if I would like to choose another head unit from the ones they did have in stock, Thought that's a nice touch

so ordered a different one and got next day delivery on It, get home from work as normal and new one has turned up as expected so a happy me unwraps it for a look and to check it's all good and once again it's the wrong head unit

So again this one went back in the wrapping and was sent back and this time I will not be wasting my time with another order! Think I will just wait till she is on the road and order one from Mikey at SoundSecure.
Update on engine/radiator

After a load of ringing round the various tuners to have her put back together and set up properly I narrowed it down wanting to go to NMS to have the work done, set about arranging recovery to transport her down to them and got a good price agreed with Adam at series1recovery but NMS just haven't bothered getting back to my calls or emails a bit of a piss take to be honest. I know they are busy and for obvious reasons but surely a phone back or a quick reply to an email ain't to much to ask? Anyways I won't be going there now
I have been chatting with Paul at Sabre-Tuning over the last week or so and decided on making the trip down to Bristol to have them set up the Omex management. The guys at Sabre are a big hit on Rsoc and are producing some awesome work on many of the FRS boys cars. Speaking with Paul he has worked with more than his fair share of cars running Omex management and is more than happy to help and advise in response to my novice questions lol it's a hell of a treck down to Bristol on a recovery truckabout an extra 150 miles so the price is a fair bit more. looking at about £325 to get her transported down there so I am going to use the money it would cost for recovery to buy the new parts I need instead and get my local performance garage R & P Woods to put her back together, then I can drive down to Sabre for setting up

it seems a shame to fork out £300+ on recovery when its only £345 for all the parts I need. I have had a chat with them today and they are picking her up Monday to have a look at what needs doing and how much it will cost to get sorted. So I'm going ahead with that as I want to get the ball rolling.
I should have an update with what's been decided with the guys at R & P Woods on Monday
