Yeah, well I'd of had a 1.6si, would of made it a lot easier. But I wish i'd been more organised in terms of knowing what i needed and what i needed to do lol! All about the learning curve

Had a spare hour before.

Connected up the rear lines from the servo to the unions. Sorted out the alt wiring so that's all done.

figured out i'm missing a snap ring off the offside driveshaft which will be sorted.

Still need the correct bolt for my gear linkage which i cant find for the life of me.

then ill be checked the main loom and the last few other bits.

In regards to connecting the ecu, people say dont to stop it getting damaged. When is the right time to connect it?

if danny hasnt got back to you i'll check sam's loom as i was re-wrapping it last night for him

I checked mine and had no plugs spare or any I could relate that too

Have you got pic of the full loom at all? Or just get terry to cross check it for you, it'll be easier

Right lads, haven't got much work done on this recently because of my new job hunt.

i have most of the parts i need so they'll be fitted when i have the time.

looking doubtful that i'll make ford fair due to finances (wont be able to afford to get her on the road once running)

So plans are to have her ready to go for next year

In my job situation, I've managed to get through to the final 3rd stage at Bentley Motors. And also just had an interview at Arriva (bus company) for either a mechanical/electrical apprenticeship or body work apprenticeship. So fingers crossed i'll get into a steady job soon enough then things can take off.
