People seem to forget that cars are designed to crumple and therefore reduce the amount of impact the driver is subjected to... Despite what people think, crashing something like an old Volvo, although the car may well come off better on the looks of things, the driver will be more likely to suffer injury.

to be fair i can't say i'd like to crash any car i'd rather not crash!

Best car I crashed was an E36 BMW. If it was anything cheap, for example a Ford or Citroen etc etc.. I probably would have been crushed by the roof

I've had a few.......

Vauxhall Zafira CDTi brand new 08 plate, had a wheel wobble at 70 that VX couldn't (wouldn't) sort. Sold on after 6 months!

Peugeot 206 HDi, awful, awful, awful car in just about every way sold on to be replaced with a new 12 plate Fiesta TDCi. It has an engine management problem which Fords wont acknowledge and it just not a nice place to be. The visibility is wink too! Can't wait to get my MK2 on the road!!

I've decided new cars suck

due to rust

Iv always felt safe in my fez, iv seen a few of them after a crash and they seem to fair well.

I wouldnt trust an escort however, especially the mk5 shape onwards.

I rear ended a brand new beetle with a fiesta (one that had a spotless front end I may add)
beetle came out with a scratch, fiesta came out with front panel, radiator, bonnet and chassis leg damage!

(edit: i would like to add this was not my fault, she was pissed and slammed on infront of me and I got the police involved lol)

Infact sod every car, transit wins overall. Iv had a few smashes in them and where the other vehicle has had to be written off iv continued to use the van. I call it karma for them pulling out into me.

My favourite one was in oldam, I was driving up a street and to vans where double parked and as I drove between them a corsa pulled out from behind one of the vans and we had a head on crash. Front of the corsa was smashed up but the front of my van didnt have a scratch on it lol.
