There is moondust silver and stardust silver, I think the z-s colour is slightly darker. Im set on MS Design lower lip and skirt kit, or possibly the evotech skirts, they look cool.

About the strip, Im still not 100% sure I wanna lose it, I've seen Mk4s without and they look pretty bare down the sides, so I wanna keep it for the time being, either that or get it colour coded so there is at least something there to break up the expanse of metal

Well, I thought it was about time to bring this thread back up to date with a full run down of mods to date, and a full current spec.
It's taken over 2 years to get it to this marginally modified stage, but they say that patience is key in this game, and Im more than inclined to agree.
I know the mods aren't massive, and it's not some 500 cubic inch street dragster, but I love my little Fiesta, and it still makes me smile.

How it all started in 2004, 14,000 miles on the clock, and keys straight out of my mothers hands. She was the only owner before me:

First simple mods:

On with the bigger stuff:

Starting to look a bit better with new wheels:

Time to lower it:

As it stands today with new rear lights and ICE, almost FITP ready, but with a tonne of waxing still to do, calipers to repaint, wheels and tyres to clean.....I could go on:

Spec
Interior
Standard 1.25 Zetec interior including white dials.
Momo Cobra gearknob.

Exterior
Silvatec indicator bulbs.
Ring ice white headlamp bulbs.
Ring ice white foglight bulbs.
White LED sidelights.
Black lexus style clusters.
Smoked side repeaters.
Debadged rear.

Engine
K&N 57i Induction kit.
Powerflow T303 Stainless centrebox.
Powerflow T303 Stainless backbox, with 3" tailpipe.

Wheels/tyres
15" TSW Volcano's finished in gunmetal with polished lip.
195/45/R15 Uniroyal Rainsport tyres.

Brakes
Stock sized Tarox Monza drilled and grooved discs.
Tarox brake pads.

Suspension
GMax -40mm springs.

ICE
Pioneer AVH-P5700DVD MP3/CD/DVD headunit 4x50 watt (See page 2)
Alpine Type S componants.
Alpine MRPM350 700 watt max amplifier.
Alpine SWS1242D 12" 600 watt subwoofer.

nice work. dont take this wrong way though but i think it needs to be lower.what about 40mm with zetec s suspension on it!

As I said in his tribute post, it's all Graham's handy work, I just told him where I wanted everything. I got some black tape round the earth terminal now though, and it looks that tin bit neater....not that anyone would have noticed apart from me, but damn it, IT DIDN'T MATCH!!!!! :lol:

Im so chuffed

Pioneer AVH-P5700DVD.
MP3, CD (inc CD/R and CD/RW), DVD (inc DVD/R and DVD/RW).
DAB Tuner.
Sat Nav ready.
iPod ready.
Multichanger ready.
Port for on screen engine diagnostics module (sold seperatly).
Touch screen for everything (menu buttons, DVD control etc).
6.5" widescreen.
Plus, it also has a dedicated sub output, so I can swtich it off remotely from the screen, I know you can do this on most units, but my old one didn't, and it's so handy.

Screen resolution is amazing and doen'ts really come up in the pics, plus at night, when light is low, there is a sensor which turns down the brightness on screen so that it doesn't glare or distract the driver

Well done Pioneer, it's not the AVIC-X1 but damn, it's good.

I was parked outside Ruth's house the other day, with the facia in my pocket, and some kids walked past and looked at my car.....I was out the front door so fast to tell em to f**k off :lol:

Nott's it's faaaantastic.

I'm not gonna divulge how cheap it was, it was enough, but I've been hankering for one for a while, and it came at a good time after a nice pay rise, so I feel I deserved a treat

Cheers for the positive comments guys. Maybe I should start spending money on body kits and things, and worry about the trick stuff later :lol:

None at all, it actually sits quite a way out of the dash. There is a +/- button to adjust how far forward or back the screen tilts.

I know I'll bang on about it, but it is a good unit

Might expand to Sat Nav too.
