Got a new pump on order so that should be with me tomorrow,fingers crossed it should be ready for the weekend

well...

the main plan for monday was to go for a drive around with phil to help him run his fezza turbo's engine in, but my evening of fun was cut short when my water pump gave up the ghost

this is where i spent 3hrs of my evening waiting for the lowloader to arrive

doing the pump itself looks more awkward but isnt a hard job

if any other damage has been done, im locking it away for the rest of the year until my luck improves

but i think the pump has been slowly going from about 2 weeks ago as i lost a load of coolant without any explantion, it must of been leaking while i was driving as there were no leaks when it was started up before central day and my header tank was full last weekend before i went out for a drive!

so i hunted for a leak and it was coming from the water pump to block mating face , if i had of known it wanted to fuck out i would of replaced it while the block was out

yeah it does make things a little more exciting i'll give you that

i shall keep the thred updated on my progress

When my mani caught fire RAC took like 4 hours to come. Takes the piss sometimes.

Unlucky again, cosworth ownership! Hope it is better for the weekend :-)

yeah it wasnt fun as i couldnt really just walk off into brighton incase they called and said they were 10 mins away!

indeed, could of happened to any car i was driving! im just glad it happened 30 mins away from home and that i saw and heard it so should be ok!

wonder how many people would of given up by now and sold/broken it?
