well those on FB would have seen patches of oil gathering under my car

thanks to sam and phil for phone help/banter - using the ford jack i got her in the air -

sump plug is leaking

so that will be replaced and oil changed again asap - brought some more oil to top it back up for now

that's bad news mate, glad its nothing serious though

because i park in exactly the same spot pretty much- no patches were seen until i rolled it backwards yesterday

why wasnt a new sump plug o ring used when you did the oil the last time?

good thing is you found a leak, hopefully this will sort your issue out

yeah hopefully it will all be sorted - will try and sort out a magnetic one

Save your money mate and put it towards something worthwhile. Magnetic sump plugs are mostly useless. A normal oil filter will do the job you need.

Ok ry will source a sump plug of some description

You can stick magnetic sump plugs in the "useless performance mods" pot along with things like bonnet raisers and even some types of "bigger brake setups" that cause more negatives than positives

none taken - brakes are good though as standard si stuff is cack

in my defence - i didn't change the oil personally

i used to work on cars - not engine related - but stereo's/amps/subs/interior bits/etc but just stopped

should be able to service a car now i've watched it 1000 times!
