Ordered some custom decals for the tailgate and and the windscreen.

Still undecided on the full rear tints and iam worried it might look a little shit. might try and find another pair of rear lights and experiment with E-Tech tint spray, flyeyes and lamin-x and see what gives the darkest but best oem style look. Also worried about the mot\reflectors\police issues of full rear tints

wheels might get changed again at some point for a staggered set of 18" gloss black 3SDM 0.01 or XXR 530 8.5j\9.5j

Fitted the "Stealth Edition" window decal. Just need to lower the tax disc out the way


Started to take the brembos to the bear metal. Once ive got all the paint off ill smooth out the metal finish then need to pick up some Hammerite paint primer tomorrow as paint on bear metal alone isnt going to work. Also need to pick up some more sanding accessories for the Dremmel to get into those hard to reach places. Hoping by end of tomorrow have them sanded and in metal primer, then the following night paint them and leave a few days before fitting. will also allow time for the Brembo decals to arrive from a ebay purchase

Not sure if i should spray paint the primer or hand brush the primer and sand it flat afterwards to help fill any imperfections in the metal

It should do in theory, but you never know until you try it. But to be honest, if you are using hammerite, there isn't any need for primer

The hammerite red I got is in a spray can and is very thin, too thin to try and cover bear metal. I got some hammerite special metals primer in a tin which is thick. Just brushed on the first coat. Ill give it another coat with the primer so it's smoother and covered any blemishes in the metal, then sand it flat with 2500 grade. Then on to several coats of the spray can red. No lacquer needed. Then apply the brembo decals

led rear lights fitted. tinted them with e-tech tint spray for the stealth look. think i went too dark though, might re-do them at some point to a grey\brown tint level.

not liking the lights, think it cheapens it and the old ones looked better

I thought an all black rear end would look quite good, how wrong I was. The old ones give some sort of fresh look to the car. They will match the brakes too

the black rear lights did look proper shit. keeping the old units on, iam going to lamin-x them, took make the red abit darker

Took a few pics over the weekend as it was nice and sunny, so gave it a quick clean up, starting with all the door hinges and seals.
