Haha I'm not sure if I.mentioned why the quarter was missing? She.managed to.drive into a post in the petrol station lol. Both door and quarter were pulled off at the bodyshop before it got fixed and I.re wrapped the door but didn't have time to do the quarter and then the cold.weather set in!

New parts ordered. As the car is getting on for 145k now i thought the front suspension bushes could do with being replaced to stiffen up the front end as they must get abit of a pounding with a 2.5tdi lump over them for 9 years! so i have ordered the following

4 x upper suspension arms
4 x lower suspension arms
2 x ARB drop links
2 x track rod ends
and new bolts for everything! should freshen up the handling abit, need to get a wheel bearing also as my OSF one is dead

Im also on the lookout for an RS4 RARB as this is a direct replacement for my standered 18mm bar, the RS4 one is 22mm and is only £40 from the dealer and aparently it makes a hell of alot of difference to the handling of the car!

Another thing im tring to find are A4 B5 spring purches, these are basivly like top mounts but the fit directly onto the B6/B7 front suspension and lower the car by another 15mm on the front, there only about £20 aparently so i need to enquire at audi about them

Im wanting to get all my suspension sorted before a remap as there is no point chucking buckets of torque through the front wheels if by suspension components are on there last legs

Found the pics I took of the B7 after I twated the kerb.

As you can guess the wheel should be in the middle of the wheel arch





Was proper biffed and almost every suspension component in that corner needed replacing.... Ooops

Cheers danny, be interesting to see how bad the bushes are when I remove them, I'm getting abut of front end knocking over bumpy roads so I think some are deffo shot!

Paul that looks nasty, sure you wernt trying to do some handbrake turns in the now haha, how was the tyre still inflated! That's one big chunk taken out of it.

Parts arrived today, top delivery service, didn't even take 24hours to get here.



May get them fitted Monday but not sure as I have the horrid man flu haha

I know, this is what the guys in the forum were saying, the RS4 bar is one of the best mods that can be done in the handling in line with the standered sport suspension. I think with drop inks it takes it to £90 but its still a bargain! Need to visit the dealer soon. There are loads going in ebay aswell but may aswell get it new. Thing I didn't know is the cab actually handles better than the saloon due to the extra chassis stiffening they did to it, well apparently according to ages forum members lol.

Your cupra splitter, DID you get that new from seat? As apparently there around £40 from the dealer. I want one!

Mine come with the Cupra R bumper.

12 months ago, splitters from seat was about about £20, i think due to there popularity of people using them as universal splitters, there now £45 from Seat. part no. 1ML 805 903

Abit of an update here, With my wedding approaching fast (only 4 weeks to go) i thought id better get the car looking good as im using it to take myself, my best man and my ushers to the church! All 4 of my alloys were curbed and were really letting the car down, although im on the look out for new wheels i wont have any before mid april! So i went to halfords, bought some BMW titanium silver and obviously primer and laqure and some wet and dry. Took all the weels off the car and sanded them all down, luckily all the curbing was mainly paint damage and hadn't gone into the actual alloy at all apart from in afew places which i just sanded as flat as i could as i didn't have time to be filling stuff. Heres some photos, didnt take many as a wheel is a wheel
