The clutch will probably feel like your kicking a bucket of coal, iirc correctly it's all cable operated in any Mk 3/Mk 3.5.

You see, superior Mk 4's have the lovely addition of a hydraulic clutch mechanism, which is nice and easy

That being said, it may well just be knackered, Im sure someone with more technical knowhow will tell you.

how do u ,

yer the si clutch i harder than the other mk3s out there for some reason alot ov the time its the clutch leaver that gets rust in it, the on one that gos in to the gearbox not sure how much thay cost though :rolleyes:

A new bearing might lighten the load, trouble is you have to take the gearbox off to do this :lol:

I paid about ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£80 for my clutch kit. If you can't do it, it's a pricey thing to have done at a garage. It's more than likely fine, they're all heavy ish. Feels fine to me as I've never had anything that's 'light'.

Mr Clutch charge around ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£130 to supply and fit an Si clutch.

My local garage wanted ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£300 to supply and fit a genuine Ford clutch.

I was seriously considering clears but that was when i was thinking of getting white rims. However, i have just bought some really smart silver ones so i think that smoked are going to look much better.

Can't wait to pick her up, getting her Thursday now!! (Was originally told i could only get her Saturday).....Well excited.

How sad am i? I've got loads of stuff just sitting here already, waiting to be put on the car. Like welcoming presents!! :lol:

whoo another girlie

my clutch is quite light but thats just cos i was used to the one on my frst which was like kicking about 8 buckets of coal lol but id say if it doesnt feel right to u and ur big mac mate will fit it for u then change it.....maybe if u buy him 2 he'll get the part for u too! :lol:

as for the lights, its all about the smoked ones....

enjoy the site they seem nice (so far lol!)
