As it says in the title, whats the car you most regret buying?

Just thought it could be a bit of fun.

Mine was a Fiat Bravo in Kawazaki green it was cheap and I needed a run around, we parted company after 3 days

Cat-c 2000 zetec s.

None of the panels lined up. Orange peel paint. Poorly filled roof. Two wheel nuts per wheel. Bent drivers seat.

It was outstandingly cheap at 3500. I sold it for a lot less two weeks later.


Fiesta St.

First one. Drank oil. Lots of it. Owed shit loads of finance on it. Was OK driving it but always thought the engine would go pop. Met an unfortunate end with a fox and a wall.

Citroen ax.

EBay special. Bought for 270 quid. Sold a month later for a tenner. Just to shift it. The electrics were malfd.


I almost regret my car I have now. Only because petrol costs loads now and I want to start a family. Can't fit a buggy and shit into a 3 door fez easily. Unfortunately the resale value sucks. Plan is to keep it for toy and buy a cheap dad car.

Im happy with my choices, not had many cars though like some the car slags on here lol

I have two cars that I have regretted, both being my most recent purchases.

I regret buying the A4 as I paid over the odds for it, it was in the garage heaps when I got it and I sold it for fuck all cause it was fucked!

Second is my Fiesta, don't get me wrong I love it, but thats the problem. My heart rules my head and I keep buying bits for it. In reality I should have chopped the little fucker in years ago but it infectious isn't it??

Regret buying the dc2 I did. You can't polish a turd. Spent too much now not to finish it off but it will need to be reshelled in the next few years.

I regret the first ZS and the Clio.

I don't regret buying the car, I regret buying the ones I did and not waiting out for better ones.

Admittedly the first ZS was a good car it wasn't until I dug further that I found the issues, then caused some of my own

cant say ive had many regrets, hadnt really had many cars

most of my cars have been spot on - notably the white xr3i and the xr2i didn't really go wrong

blue fiesta st had niggles but nothing major

focus st just cost to damn much to run

A 2001 Renault Laguna dci estate, lovely car 'when' it worked, but electrics were a nightmare and leaked like a sieve

Recently purchased a Saxo as needed a car while I save up for my next Ford project and got a fantastic deal on it. Have to say its a lot nicer car than I thought it would be given the chav stigma that comes with owning one lol
