Happy new year guys and gals, been sometime since ive been on here or done any work on the fiesta! But after moving house twice, sorting my career out and welcoming my daughter to this world. The Boss (the mrs) has allowed me to start on the car again. So right its was 2009 my fiesta was last driven on our great british roads and I think thats well over due! So this month uber big buys to make it this year have been 2 x lower arms, radiator, full service kit and all fluids + lubricants. 

Struggling on finding fitting kit for front bumper, anyone know if Ford could still supply these?

When I got my donor sI, it only came with the red key and through me being a bum I've put off getting a new one cut, long story short, key cutter said my red key had hardly anything to go on but had a go anyway....typical it didnt work. So any ideas what I can do once my red key gives up?

Get a new lockset or go to ford with all your documents and see if they can get you a new one cut.

Hmmm going to ford sounds expensive. As it goes for a new lockset, is that an easy job?

It will be very knowing ford. New lockset all round isn't too hard of a job, can just be fiddly and time consuming.

Get a new lockset and tape the key under the ignition. You wont have an immobiliser but meh!!

Little update for you, just given the rollcage a quick spruce up before i fit it. KEpt getting a lil distracted by the heavy snow were starting to get (such a big kid at heart)

Should be finished and in by mid to end of feb, ive got to get the lower arms and radiator replaced and give it a service ready for its mot.
