Yeah they are pretty decent. I loved mine when I worked in a garage, and I wouldn't mind having one again. They are good if you are lazy and/or cant undo a bolt because its a bit tight, but you will find you rely on it and become super lazy. Downsides are that they die and need recharging which can take a while. So spare battery is a must.

If you get one, only get snap on, or maybe blue point as thats essentially snap on.

Just need to ask yourself, do you NEED one?

Yeah they do surve a purpose and make life easier with some things, especially stuff like crankshaft bolts - saves locking up the crank.

Get a 2nd hand one if anything - it will save you some monies.

I got one for around £40-£50 a while back. Not a known brand, single battery.

As said, they run out then don't do shit, they only really work for getting tight nuts off when their battery is above say 75% other than that they are just a lazy socket and wrench.

That said, I wouldnt be without mines for the ease of getting wheels off and putting bolts/nuts back on when you've got to hold what ever your bolting up with one hand to get it right.

Am I a lazy fucker? Yes.
Would I buy another one? Hell Yes :)

Are the two above related and the onyly reason for each other? Probably ;)

ive got a clarke electric gun its pretty big but gets all tight bolts off no problem at all, highly recommend it sam watson also has one and he made me get mine in the first place
