Besides not being clipped in th channel properly, those HT leads look they're connected wrong on the coil pack. Not sure if it is, but looking at that end just seems wrong.

would i need bigger calipers for the disks though? they will do for now. i think my brake set up will do me until i look at more power in the future but i will keep that in mind.

yes yes, i sorted it all out after that pic dan, just wacked them in for a picture :) once its in the bay it will be nice and neat and connected up correctly :)

if i dont get the flywheel today someone is getting knocked.the.fuck.out.

today i decided to get the gearbox cradle and tow eye sorted in anticipation for getting the flywheel back... firstly ground the tow eye back to bare metal and just wire brushed the cradle (forgot to get a pic of it bare)

decided to stone chip the cradle then after a few coats i taped it off in preperation for the ash black on the toe eye tomorrow.

exhaust system is on its way :)

couldnt get the rivnuts fixed to the chassis leg so ordered m12x130 and m12x80 along with a 12mm heavy duty drill bit to bolt it on direct.

then its up up up, and away :D:D:D lols

looking good benjaminge ... for a fliddy twat you're doing awesome :thumbsup: :halo: im quite glad you got the ferodo shiz as they are awesome ! although keep ontop of the wheel cleaning as the pads give off more dust than a nuns noonie :lol: the rs's wheels went from clean and shiney to cunted in literally a day or 2 or normal driving :doh:

been a progressive day today. as i couldnt make it to Jams funeral i thought i'd pay my respect by doing plenty on the si :)

so i set about getting the holes sorted for the engine mount (what a pain it was!)

to cut a long story short, some of the holes dont line up perfectly, one of the bolts comes out into the wheel arch and i realised i had missed one hole that needed a bolt. but the whole thing is very secure so no need to worry :) i ground the inner side of the chassis rail to bare metal and stone chipped over it.

Copper grease the lever shaft inside where it sits on the hole, gearbox shaft (just the smooth part) and the spindles on the upper part of the lever shaft.
