Hey guys im wondering if it be worth getting a uprated in-tank fuel pump for my 1800 for when I start to tune it? If so would this be a suitable one for the job.

Thanks in advance

Hi mate,

Don't think it's necessary for the Fexif i'm honest. Would only be worth doing if your current one is on its way out, and even then a new standard one should suffice.

Unless of course you plan on going mental on it???

Paul

Really, as low as 160bhp? I thought you would need to be pushing nearer 200before it would struggle!

Not based on anything in particular, just thought standard would do more than 30bhp over RS!

Live and learn :)

I did measure the flow from my standard Si fuel pump once but can't find where I wrote it down, I replaced mine with a 255 pump which is well over the top. there is a rule of thumb on internet.
