...how absolutely proud I am of FSi's community today

You guys have always been a great bunch, and it's what we pride ourselves on. FSi isn't the biggest, but it's certainly the best. With the total heart wrenching news we have had today, the way people have come together has astounded me, and I'm sure that Jam would feel the same.

We have all, I'm sure, had a realisation today of just how short life is, and that it's not always fair. But through the hard times we have all shown just how decent and mature we are, and I take my hat off to you all.

You should be proud of yourselves during this sad time.

Well said mate... Im not on here as much as i should/want to be... I feel like even tho been not on here as much always feels a welcome place to come...

After today as you said i took a long step back and also had a think how short life is... Thats the 2nd person around my age that has left us

Amen to that.

It's true though, we are aren't just a bunch of forum whores, we are as a whole - a group of mates - even if we do live throughout the UK. We don't just go to meets every now and then with the odd bit of chit chat like most forums do, we look out for each other, help each other out and be there for one another if need be - not just online, but outside of the forum and in everyday life day to day.

I can say for one that I am proud to be a part of this community. It is one hell of a good group of people and a strong bunch at that too.

As the saying goes - live everyday as if it's your last.

The realisation for me is I was 29 in august so I have already had longer.

As sad it is to have lost somebody so special, we should be honored he chose to spend some of his short time with us.

Was thinking last night that at 31 I've been here as long as Jam and my daughter put together and it all kinda hits home how much we all take for granted.

Well said, I haven't been/used the forum much but I have felt welcome straight from the start. Like Danny said, its more of a group of mates than a forum!

I always feel welcome here. Met a good few people id call friends, gutted I didnt meet jam as im sure I would of gotten on with him.

28 is far to young to die, im 25 and i hate the thought of dieing leaving my kids without a dad.
You think youve got loads of time but then it only feels like yesterday when I was at school but now im a dad with a house job etc so we should all make the most of our time.

ive been here from the start and got to know jam through this very forum, sadly over the years i didnt get to speak to jam as much as id wanted too but we still kept in contact with regular abuse coming my way!

even too the end he was still one funny guy !

Just goes to show how strong a person he really was. he'd always be chirpy with me even though he had been through hell and back pretty much all the time.

I'd like to think I could be as strong as he was, but I doubt many would be in reality. A king amongst men.

to see everybody come together over this sad news sends shivers down my spine. hats off to everyone also. just proves what a great forum this is and im glad i came across it and made myself a part of it.
