i know they won't be to everyone's taste but they are copper colour and look fantastic with my anthracite wheels. however my mum dropped them on my wheels the other day so i'm fucking livid (dont have a pic as the chip is that small but you get my jist )

this depresses me a lot. should have it out today. getting the dash flocked also

bought a few more bits...


hammerite for the gearbox. moly grease for the cv joints... and best of all polytek PT flex. it's stuff that Ry used for his engine mounts etc. so i will be strengthening the engine and gearbox mounts with this

that's it for now. soon as the loom is out ill be prepping and painting the engine bay/front valance then its time for the new loom to go in. will be ordering some plastic conduit to wrap it in to keep the engine bay neat and tidy. then once the mounts are done and the brackets are painting it's engine in time

in a way i wish i had completed mine lol the only 2 1.4s on here then would be 2.0'd like the rest of em lol but with the house and everything i just couldnt afford to finish it to the standard i would want it at. i just wouldnt of been happy with it.

im still tempted to have the sportka, drop it on cossie wheels lol

i have kept an eye out for another 1.6 si though, as my mate is selling his 151bhp 2.0. although that would go nice in sportka too lol

and dont worry about that 5er now! lol just buy some more stuff off me! lol

lads. painted the gearbox today, took apart the ho inlet to check it all!

got the engine up on blocks to paint the sump etc and swap the alt brackets over.

quick question. how do you remove the fuel injectors from the fuel rail?

also, what happens if i upgrade to better fuel injectors? would there be any point with the power im going for? would you also need to uprate the pump as well?

and secondly... the radiator. are there any alternatives on aftermarket rads that can be better than standard? im waiting for Paul to send me his but havent heard anything off him yet so thought id do some research anyway!

you wont need better injectors, they are more than adequate for your needs mate as for rads the only real option is an ally rad probably from autospecialists or airtec possibly

quick one lads. got the engine up on bricks so i could paint some of the sump and start removing the non pas alt bracket with the pas alt bracket...

and also sprayed up the gearbox ready for it to go on!


sorry i didnt re size but you wouldnt be able to see!

tomorrow ill be painting the engine bay. sending off the calipers to get all the pistons, seals etc replaced and to have them shot blasted.

Well I was only wondering because if its the mondeo one then you wont be able to use the normal zetec filter, you will have to use the small CVH one. If its a fiesta one then you can use the normal filter.
