Ok so MOT is up in 3 days and my 3 buckled Khan wheels will put stress on my new wheel bearings and uneven wear on my bloody expensive rear discs and pads, and its killed the tyres and gives a shit ride so they had to go.

Managed to get a set of 18" Leon Cupra R alloys with 3 good tyres for a good price. Ill run these untill i decide on my final wheel choice, if i decide to keep the LCR ones ill treat them to a full refurb and 4 fresh tyres as there running the Pirelli P-Zero tyre which i fucking hate !

Also got my refurbed R32 calipers, bigger then the Porsche Brembos and allowing a much bigger disc but about twice the weight of the Brembos !

Cheers. Just getting into some basic detailing. Got my DAS6 pro now and learning how to use the pads with chain products etc. personally liking the dodo juice products at the moment, easy to use and excellent results even if its on the expensive side, £35 for wax, £20 for de-cleanser and £20 for detailed spray. Spent about £350 on my detailing kit now.

My original power plan for 250bhp following other people that have done it looks like its only coming in at 235bhp.

Got a new plan now that's pushing around 280+BHP

Southbend silent SMF & clutch stage 2 daily (400ft/lbs 540Nm)
Garrett GTB2260VK turbo (rated to 310 BHP)
stainless exhaust manifold for GTB Turbo
race injectors with fired 80% (rated to 320bhp)
VW 2.0 8v BHW Pistons and block rebored (1.9 to 2.0)
Rosten H beam con rods
Custom Remap (250-300 BHP with above mods)

I've inquired today with a company that can supply the parts.......will update when I get feedback from them.

Fitted a genuine LCR front bumper. Its ebony black and mines black magic but to be honest you cant tell the colour difference that match in day time, but you can if you shine a bright torch on it. Just wanting to do the cupra honeycomb grill conversion on it now, as i dont like the LCR slated vents. Gives a meaner lower look.

Got my LCR brembo 4-pot calipers and carriers, EBC Ultimax discs, Ferodo DS-2500 Pads and goodridge Red braided hoses. Iam going to get the brembos fully refurbished in red with new Brembo stickers and i also need to order 4 new carrier bolts and LCR front brake splash shields on monday and fit them during the week when they arrive

just a few updates

Ok so my brand new 2 week old Toyo T1-R decided to go pop at high speed down the motorway. It had picked up a massive screw that then decided to leave the tyre with instant air loss and the wheel killing the tyre.

Luckily i carry a spare but its one of those 50mph limited ones, and with 100 miles to go to London was not impressed, especially when being overtaken by Caravans, plus the wheel looks gash.

Had a new Toyo fitted in London for £90 so not too bad

Decided to pick up a spare LCR alloy to keep in the boot, so if iam here again, ill have a wheel that looks the same with no speed limit with a decent tyre that i dont need to be in a rush with to replace. Bought a brand new 225/40/18 Falken ZE912 non rotational tyre for it so i know iam all good. Fits in the boot perfect

Got a new genuine seat pancake pipe and hose setup cause ive had nothing but hassle from the uprated SFS one and now the hose from the turbo to pancake pipe has been rubbing on the driveshaft and eat its way through the pipe and before that endless amounts of pipes blowing off where the hose clips just arnt strong enough, it was time to go back to standard. Not cheap at £270 but couldnt be dealing with the hassle any more

Ive put some full black leather heated Golf MK4 R32 Konig seats in. I got the loom and proper seat heater switches and the LHD air bag light and rear heater timer switch to do a OEM install
