Hi all, wondering if anyone could help me....

I've got a 1998 mk4 Ford Fiesta 1.3 Finesse and have a problem with the indicator ticking noise. The indicators work as should when I wanted them to, but when I cancel the signal, the ticking noise keeps going at a much faster rate of tick (technical term I know). It has slowly been happening more and more lately and now it's almost constant, making driving my car anywhere so annoying

Anyone had this problem or know what the problem could be? If yes how do you fix it?? Would be SERIOUSLY grateful!

Do the indicators carry on flashing or not?

I would take a guess at a connection somewhere that is dodgy, or the relay itself is on the way out. I would go to a scrappy and get an indicator relay and see if that solves the problem, if not, investigate further, perhaps with the indicator stalk itself.

Ah okay thanks, I've got a scrappy round the corner so I'll pop round and see if they've got the part and give that a go, cheers!
