Today i visted DTR to make sure she was still under her cover

Last couple of days I have done:

Rust hunting/ Smashing the fuck out of bits with a hammer and screwdriver. No holes made. So under side is solid still. Win.
Got rid of scabby surfact rust/bubbling paint on front panel. Then undersealed it.
Re-undersealed the whole under side of the car - inside the arches to do another day.
Stripped down front suspension for a clean up and inspection.
Greased up all the poly bushes at the front as there is a annoying as fucking squeeking noise.
Changed lower arms for camber adjustable ones.
Fucked a lower arm pinch bolt.
Temp adjustment on tracking.
General check of bolts here and there for the sake of it.
Made a shitty cold air feed to help combat heat soak.

Tomorrows/later this weeks jobs are:

Replace fucked lower arm pinch bolt.
Fit standard cross over intake pipe and put the K&N filter on that. Probs ditching the banana pipe from now on as its fucking shit even with the mods to stiffen it up.
Strip down and clean rear suspension.
Paint/underseal all the arches.
General clean up of the engine bay.
Give it a service - plugs, oil, filter ect.

I think thats it.

Only had a little blast before the traffic clogged us up, but was keeping up with him up to 100, then he started edging away. One things for sure though, his brakes were better than mine

Got fucked off with mine today, well more so the replacement gearbox mount which broke.

All good now though.

Sat inside and regretted putting my foot down last night when I noticed how much my fuel has gone down, it hardly moved all the way to 6 fields but then used 1/4 tank to get back!!
