How many should be done?
I need to work some sort of daily plan out. Dont suppose you could recommend out tango?

3 sets of 8-10 per muscle group will see you fine mate..
Just need to remember to do opposite muscle groups so that they don't counter act each other, ie don't do biceps and triceps on the same day.. Do say biceps and chest, triceps and back, legs an shoulders.. Stomach can be worked daily as its a very strong muscle group and recovers quickly..

I work triceps and biceps on the same day lol Triceps can take a battering, but they need to be to get any decent size and definition.

Good advice though from Tango, I would add though, if you want to build a bit of muscle, then go for something like 3 sets, the first with 12 reps at a lighter weight (but by the twelth you should struggle), 10 reps at a weight increase, say 5 kilos, then 8 reps at a heavier weight again. If you can do it all and dont really feel it towards the end of each set, then up the weight next time from the start.

Oh yeah, fave of mine is the skullcrusher for triceps lol go look, its hard as fook but well worth doing!

Im doing cutting phase at mo, higher reps at less weight to lose bodyfat and try and tone up a bit, fair whack of cardio in this too. Get some boxing gloves to make it a bit more fun lol

Thanks for the advice guys, i need to do my research on what excersize does what muscle then i can get a daily routine of excersizes.

I'm going to join the gym again and start losing a bit of weight, got a bit of a belly on for the first time in my life lol

Running for 10-15 minuites is a good one, jog for 30 seconds, sprint for 2 minuites and keep doing that, differ the intervals and do what you can, I was sweating for 30 minuites even after a shower the other day!

Should get a thread up of routines, workouts, diet (plays a big part!) and compare what we all do as its interesting to see how others do things.

When i'm at the gym I do 5 sets of 12 of the things I do, start at an average weight, and go up by 5kg (or whatever the next weight up is on the machine) each time. by the end I either fail, or know I need to up it a bit more.
