whats the black crackle paint called? and please dont point out the obvious, i want the make etc or is it just the crackle hammerite one?

You don't have to cure it in the oven if once it's installed, you get your engine very hot for a period of time.

Depends what's easier - Mum telling you off or spending a bit of petrol for the generated heat.

I'm going to bang mine on and get the engine bay roasting away.

Can't see it getting any more crackled than it would be if you left it out in the sun or indoors ! might just crackle quicker?

The crackle paint i used PJ1 Paints, its needs to be sprayed on the items that are warm, Luckly i had acess to a spray booth...

Prep - i flatted the items down with 320 dry then de greased them with paint wipes, the masked up and painted...

Applyed 1 heavy coat first of all, then after a few mins apart from each other apply 3 light coats and then bake and let dry over night.
