also.. after going out in the saph yesterday, i want one even more !!!! the chatter was incredible, the power felt awesome and just the fact people looked out of sheer interest was lovely. god i miss having an old fast ford HOWEVER.. after sitting in leather seats for 5mins with a non functioning window in 25 degree heat and cunty humidity i was sweating like a cucumber in elton johns fridge !!! thank you for yesterday terry (no gay comments )

Its started!

Engine is ready to drop out tomorrow morning!

my poor old T34 was then stripped and packaged up ready to be sent off to be rebuilt/converted :mrgreen: :twisted:









engine was ready to come out





sump was removed and clean up



but lurking in the sump we found this...







we think its from my old tappets as my bottom end was clean and fresh when it was put back together, in the 3k that i last changed the oil i ever had anything come out and there was no noise or smoke before it came apart!

we bolted it back together and i'll see how it goes

sump had its insides cleaned out and bolted back on



new alcon 6 paddle clutch went on, along with a new ECT and CPS sensors







engine was then bolted back into place by the end of the day

Hoolllllly shit. Thats a lot of stuff in the sump!

In and out in a day not bad going!

done a bit more to the saph over the last few days

removed the crank pulley to fit my new cam belt





new belt fitted but not tension'd up yet



i then set about removing the lower part of my dash to make my life easier when i was removing my engine loom





end results from today, engine loom, ecu and old wasted spark loom removed!
