Fitted the Golf MK4 black leather rear bench with pull down armrest\storage box.

Doesn't have the middle headrest, although i did like having 3 headrests, makes seeing out the back window a little easier through the interior mirror. I've also got to install a middle lap belt as the belt pulled down from the top on my old leather rear bench which was built into the seat.











iPad 2 fits in the armrest perfectly aswell. Thats the entertainment for rear guests sorted

And on the down side my car is sick and suffering from man flu.

Needs new cams and 8 tappets and replacement cam belt.
about £650 all together, which is better then what i was hoping for tbh.

Ahhh ok, I was lucky as apparently the pre 03 2.5tdi suffered from this problem but was fixed with a revised engine in 04 so fingers crossed I should be ok, on the 2.5 it was caused by Audi doing long life services on their cars. Glad you've got it sorted now thought, bet its gunning smooth now too.

should be collecting my refurbished Leon Cupra R rear calipers in a couple of days, got some new Ferodo DS2500 pads and some bigger vented EBC Ultimax discs to go on with them too.

few more updates over the last few weeks, de-locked the drivers door and put new battery in the remote fob just incase. Theres always a key entrance from the boot if i need a way in.



And following on with my OCD obsession with car fresheners i've finished building and install my custom air freshener system.

Bit silly i know but was bored with 6 weeks off work and with magic trees only lasting about 2 days thought i would design something. works well actually and love the Febreze Caribbean Paradise smell. Smelly farts in the car are a thing of the past

Ok My rear LCR calipers have finished being fully refurbished with red polymer coating and new seals, bleed screws etc and look brand new from the state they was in when i got them. Also got some EBC Ultimax 256mm vented discs and some Ferodo DS2500 pads, so should be a good rear upgrade from the standard ones. Not sure if i should get some LCR rear disc shields or cut the lip of the FR rear ones ?

Also got some Porsche Boxster S 3.2 Brembo rear calipers to go on the front but will only allow for a 312mm disc, so iam gonna get rid of them and either go for the Boxster front calipers for a 330mm disc or the R32 calipers for a 335mm disc.
