bought some new thick luxury carpet mats for it today as the old ones were starting to fray










and two pics of the runabout which is now in the garage which will be getting some love during the summer with a nice tidy tidy up plans are

fit new genuine ford exhaust manifold-downpipe gasket as its blowing loads
paint front hubs black

treat front valance and a few bits of rust have come up

sills need a rub down and re paint in places

paint under rear arches again but use stone guard as well to protect it from chipping off

treat some rust coming up on the n/s inner wing

sort a few other little bits of rust

2 new front tyres

possibly new wishbones

brake fluid change and some new front brake pads

realign backbox as it rubs on the rear valance

a good moping session

You coming out on track now then? Looks amazing phil got to be one of the best in the country if not the best

update here decided that im too old for subs so i took the whole set up out of my si and put a standard parcel shelf in and used speaker pods for the parcel shelf supports and put speakers i had from the runabout.in those






put new side repeaters on


rear omp strut brace fitted


my si next to a zinc yellow 2004 mustang

new steering arm to sort one of mot adviserys doing that tomorrow

cheers guys once i get the new steering rack arm on today its off to get the tracking done again

and next month im booking it in to be a oil leak sorted which was another advisery i want sorted im hoping its the sump gasket not the front crank seal

sorted!! new steering rack arm fitted and noticed a split in the track rod so changed that while there also my mate sorted a small exhaust blow where the midsection meets the backbox and went to get traking redone its now 0.00 degrees with full print out on both sides perfect and to get it retracked it didnt cost me a penny as i was only there 2 weeks ago happy days

Looking really good there Phil and nice to see you got the strut brace the correct way up
It was looking top notch at FITP, nice to see continued improvements. Whats next? removing the white dials?

The strut brace is the wrongggggggggg way up lol.

It's meant to cup the currets not put force on the bolts

ive seen that discussion and i disagree i cant see it making any difference and it doesnt look right, omp know what there doing as they make roll cages etc. what would make a real difference would be the bar welded to the turrets
