To level off the top of the tyre against the peak of the arch, it's 60mm on the back and 50mm on the front.

I might go 35 on the front and 50 on the back :)

Did my tracking again earlier today after getting a couple more modification items from the scrappy.

Picked up two door rubber strips from a mondeo along with the sun visor lights from the same car. The strips are those ones that go right in the external door gap. With some good fitting these are perfect, just the right size against the standard door rubbers and have a little edge that should poke into the gap nicely. The little lights should be a nice addition in the sun visor recesses.

Tracking now has no pulling at all but needs tweaking to centre the steering wheel correctly as it's ever so slightly to the left. It used to pull to the left a little and the wheel was off centre to the right. Think I need about half a turn on each wheel to remove the left issue.

Well, got a bit of an update.

Up he goes:

Then had to have a look at this wheel:

Been getting a noise from the front end linked to road speed. Looks like the drivers side caliper is sticking a bit, then grinding and vibrating when pressure is released off the pedal and yes, it threw off the caliper retaining spring. Adjusted the calipers and what I did was move one spacer on the bolts (they're just too long for the fiesta hub holes) from under the head to between the hub and the mounting bracket. Centres the caliper better to the disc.

Then I went and organised everything for the shed as I have had too many bags and boxes of mixed bits and I can never find anything!

Yeah no stuff like that for me. If it looks standard or improved (like the sunroof) it'll go on. Lots of little bits of rust to solve too.
