Right cunts. got pictures but left the cable at my grannies so will get them up tonight... as it stands its on steelies, spaced out 5mm at each corner with pretty much everything standard visually bar the window deflectors.

so i came to start it on tuesday and the key wouldnt turn in the barrel. last time this happened was when i picked up my coilies from wayne in birmingham, luckily managed to wiggle the fuck out of it, so after that i went to my spare key! so for process of elimination, i got new keys cut... they worked for the first few turns then nothing. chips are fine in the master key so its not the chip. so its down to the barrel in the ignition!

currently, im trying to source a replacement or get someone to rebuild the barrel. starting to find the love again so progress on the engine may move foward :) and ive sacked the idea of getting a new fez derv as its ridiculous spending like £2000 when that could go towards the bodywork for fifi ;)

classic cars get cheaper insurance sometimes. its more ' specialised ' insurance ;) but tax exempt cars are pre-73 :thumbsup:

No tax was removed by labour when they came in in 1997, literally the first thing they did. No cars becoming 'classic' after that got free tax.

Footman James insurance only do 20 years plus for the fezzies, unless it's an xr2i which is 15 years old.
