not too sure about your rear top mounts mate, never had them myself as with coilovers you dont have the rubber bush thing.

you'll probs find that when the weight of the car is on them they wont move..

as for de-cats, i have one, so does a lot of other people lol

right then heres how today went;
cleaned out axle bush holes



polly bushes in.





rear axle on


drum plates on.




then i painted the inner wheelarchs with two coats. 1 hamerite 1 underbody sealent



drum brakes and new shoes on




osr shock on


ah then the nsr top cap bolt snapped. (i didn't even doi it up half as tight as the other side!)


drums on and handbrake set up to 3 clicks





antiroll bar on. i beleive its up the right way... tell me if its not!!

I had exactly the same thing happen to me the weekend, had to buy a new cap at £20.. Proper gutting ain't it mate.. The second you realise when it breaks off!!

Think I fucked up myself to be honest, I put the nut on and it was very tight so I gave it a spray of wd40, next thing I know it was rattling about in the socket... :-(

If a nut or bolt won't go in a few turns by hand its usally x threaded never try force it treat it like a boobie jus tweek it

Looking good! That same bolt snapped on my old si, all i did was fit some new strong bolts in and weld them:) did the job. Keep up the good work.

got the top cap sorted and fitted the nsr shock.



well as theres a slight squeaking noise comeing from the back when i drive i think its probly the mdf boot build rubbing on the floor slightly, so i am putting the origional carpet under the build, should stop the noise lol


took the bumper off so that i could sort any bits i wasn't happy with. but tomorow will hammetrite it then underseal it.
