i got a g-max kit but i'm not happy at all with how low the rear is it is so much higher than the front but it sure does handle through the bends no body roll due to the matching dampers but i'm going for coilovers later in the year! 8-)

I had 35mm spax springs on my standard shocks and it killed my shocks after a year. Cost about £200 fitted. Then got an Avo adjustable coilover kit. Cost about £650 fitted. That was 3 years ago and there still ok now, although the height adjustment on them has seized. needs sending off for a refurb.

I'd recomend a full kit regardless of your budget becuase its gonna cost you in the long run anyway to replace the shocks when the springs kill them off.

Might be worthing getting springs on there own if your not planning on keep the car for long.

I got mine over the net autoparts or summin. I got full kit for £216 inc postage brand new. Its an excellent set and my other half is putting it on for me as we speak!!! Ill let ya know my views once ive driven with it on!!!! :)

I'm just riding standard dampers with GMax -35mm lowering springs. I've heard mixed opinions about the scenario, some say it's bad, some say 35mm aint too much bother.
I have a Mk 4 Zetec which came with uprated dampers compared with standard, so I think a small drop like that won't knacker the dampers as they are so much harder than Mk 3 ones.
