The gold wheels do seem a bit odd, but something different to get used to I guess! :)

Ahhh all looks so epic.

The wheels are hit and miss, but they work with the way the car is really!

Gold wheels are awesome!

Just a random question... running the brake line through the car. Did you get a grommet foe where it goes through the bulkhead and to rear brakes??

Awesome work Dalsy, always nice getting a project finished (but for how long? )

Not a massive fan of the wheel colour tbh, but they are different anyway :)

thanks guys

wheels are growing on me, Im just gonna leave them as they are as i had some nice comments today , was out in the car today up at Crail raceway, very very wet , and slidy but still a good day

Paul, i fitted a 25mm grommet for the bulkhead and for the back for the brakepipes with a clearance hole for the brakepipe to go through. Ill take a pic and show you what ive done. Ive also fitted a inline brake bias valve to the back brakes which helps with the balance on high speed braking in the wet, just bias the back brakes off a little

cant get into the gold wheels, so thyre going back to the powdercoaters tomorrow to get redone anthracite

the green is also coming off the car, its just not doing it for me, so going back to silver, car looked much better before

I was at a trackday at Knockhill on Sunday , and seen pics of the car , and it looks all wrong, so its doing my head in, so now changing back

I know im a fooookin madman, but if its not doing it for me, then ive got to change it, sometimes the ideas are better in my head than they are in practise :insanity: :insanity: :insanity:

Atleast you've tried them instead of wondering.
I thought the gold wheels look well, white looked better though.

Get one set done pink.

Honestly, Everything goes with pink. IF not a light blue. Its a white car, it'll work! It's also a track slag so no one will judge :)

cheers guys

both sets of wheels are going back anthracite, so if i just need to change 2 wheels at a track day, it dont look like a patch work quilt

Im also taking off the saltire on the roof, and the band along the top of the windscreen and changing that a little, matt black sunscreen with new decals which all the guys in the west of scotland RSOC track division will have on the cars , theres around 8 of us now with track cars

Im getting the graphix changed this morning, just waiting on my mate to come down just now, and the wheels are getting dropped off this afternoon

The guy who did the wheels seen on our website i wasnt happy with the colour and offered to change the colour to anything i wanted for £50 for both sets, so its a no brainer to get them done hes doing me a real favour there which i truly appreciate

Ill get some pics up next week of them all done

it was looking funky back then , many many colours indeed

since that photo ive not done much, rolled it at Knockhill, replaced roof, wing and door, had a new engine, gerabox fitted, uprated springs, new harnesses, dash and guages, and all painted with new livery, different wheels

apart from that its the same :lolz: :lolz:

Garphix all done, and wheels back today ive been promised, ill put some pics up when its back on its wheels

Sam I rolled the car a couple of years ago, twice ive rolled it now, once totally destroying the car, and the second time not too bad, theres pics and a video on the thread somewhere, ill have a wee look and see if i can find the pics again

just got the wheels back yesterday, so put them on this morning, so im happier with how its looking now, not as bright, but i prefer it this way

Image

Image

I know its how it looked like last year, but i should have left it that way, it looked better IMO, If its not broken , dont fix it :lolz:

Also got a little creative with the carbon wrap, the back arches where getting a bit chipped, and thought id put this over it to cover the chips and protect the rest of the paint
