arrived today... huge compared to the rst vents... going to colour them ash black tomorrow, offer them up to the car to see... bonus is they will let plenty of hot air out and will look different so we will see chaps... and yes i will be attempting to cut and fit myself... lols

yo Fuck tards... yesterday was a day of pain and misery... took me around 7 hours! pics to follow...

so dropped the beam...

set to it with my dremmel after much delegation of how i would go about it

a £16 dremmel with paper thin grinding discs did the job!

hit a snag though... went to get them both back in to the brackets and boff, they wouldnt fit, so had to lever it in (forgot to take pics) then jack it up at the same time... so the beam should be much stiffer which is a bonus, but didnt expect it to happen lols...

also had to drop my exhaust down, forgot to support it and its twisted down a lot so will have to sort that, the joys of owning a fiesta ey!

coilovers on next week then wheels to follow...

oh and a package arrived...
rusty but will be ground back to bare metal and painted etc

I get to the start, think about all the things I have to do, get two bolts out, then the third one gives me jip and decide that enoughs enough and if i'm having problems now it'll only get worse and my car will be out of action for ages. So I pack up :lol:

Coilies are pretty easy, as long as you got the tools, only the top bolts on the front and rear that are a pain in the crack munch. I ended up borrowing an impact socket hammer thing and eventually that worked :lol:

Good work Ben :) Discs will be fine, they look it anyway. Just give them a light sanding down to get rid of the surface rust.

when i fitted my rears a while ago they were easy, never got to the front so fuck knows lol!

right cum munchers...

nout major... bit of work on the coilovers... one of the bearings had siezed so had to knock it out, grease it up and luckily it spun

then some reason, i pulled the piston up (like i did last time!... honest) and had loads of thread :) only issue is getting the nut down low enough so the spanner/grips can stop the piston from spinning whilst i tighten it... pain

then got a pretty package from a chap called dannyboy...

just some coilpack bolts and some washers for the rear coiliesssssss, oh and some grinding discs for the rust attack and to grind down the curbing on the rs2ks
a little extra from dannielle, sorry i mean danny!

also ordered some proper cutting discs for my dremel, ment to cut through most metals, so hopefully they can do my bonnet, win :)
