have you got the mounts ben?

if not i got rear and front, but the front is for non pas.

my plan though was to use the rear mount, then skip the front mount and get rid of pas and use cvh alternator bracket, which i also have.

i also have non pas rack and column. no pas=less weight + more power. ;)

Change everything you can for brand new so basically every gasket you see, will jump the money up but will save time and effort in the long run.

ohh yeah im not cutting corners buddy :P i dont mind throwing money at it to get it to an even better condition than its in now... just for piece of mind. about to go out and get two new bearings for the coilovers, a very small file to re thread the threads myself (the squashed ones) and some washers to space the rears properly so they dont move, lick of paint and theyll be ready to go on :)

then will spray the rims whiteeeeee, get them on with he suspension, and hopefully have the servo from dan, and sort some brakes soon so i can put em all on together. still considering getting some lower arms from area six...

Awsome stuff. Id buy the area six ones, i think they are worth it. Might be alot cheaper to make your own but area six are gonna be better quality due to experience.

oh yeah, i dont think i could make my own. just emailed them anyway. they have 2 types for sale, ones with spherical bearings (obviously the better bet) but ones that are adjustable with bushes. sure buying them, polybushing them will be almost there?

No no no!!! You said electric windows and stuff is lazy and another thing for failure! Get rid of the PAS then! Hehehe.

I'll get the servo Sunday and then find out the P&P.

My 13mm spanner was in the car...

Sandwich plate gasket is JD264. Looks like this:

Where as the inlet to head looks like this:

Just thought I would let you see them just in case matey says 'does it look like this?' for confirmation... now you can say yes or no without being confused.

Rocker cover gasket - just ask for a rocker cover/cam cover gasket for a 1995 1.6/1.8/2.0 zetec engine. All the different engines use the same gasket.

Or ask for one of these or an equivalent : Payen JN950

With regards to the washer size, i'll have a look on my car when I pop down to my garage later, if I have some spare I'll post some to you

I'm 99.9% sure it's an M10 washer because i've just checked my spare bolts and the only sizes ive got in there are 10mm thick, I only have M12 washers spare... If you get some washers, get a few for each side. I can't see how many I've got on mine, I think it's 1 washer on each side of the bush

It'll be worth it replacing the nuts and bolts. I changed all mine for stainless steal ones so they won't rust or anything :)

Always here to help mate :)

Ermmmm I think mine was about £90, but it was a Valeo one. Some motor factors might do them cheaper. LUK and Sachs are two other good makes too
