Jony coilovers aren't stiff as you may think. Everyone presumes coilovers are solid when in fact they can be softer than standard suspension. Ask people who have got them or experienced them, they would tell you that they are a better ride than any other setup including standard. Its all to do with the spring rates and damping settings among other things like unsprung weight. Mine aren't stiff at all, if they was I wouldn't drive it on the shit roads we have lol

well snitches, as said title, im off to the scrap yard on monday to see if i can find what i need to find (the engine)... if i do hopefully it will be a good price!

therefore ill have an engine and a gearbox! so ill need to purchase the other crap like ecu (unless i can get one there) 1.6 stuff, loom, then any new stuff i need eg gaskets, cambelts etc etc. was reading moles 2.0 si conversion, really enjoyed it considering he's not a mechanic either and gives me a bit of hope with doing it on mine :P so slowly but surely, i will get there!

3-4 bolts on the inside of the arch. Usually rusted in place and break when you undo them.

Don't get rid of them permanently though, it will look crap!
