Love some of the prices garages come up with for bodywork/cosmetic damage

I had a mate who's parked car was backed into gently/lightly by another car parallel parking infront of it, bumper and headlight damage only, cost the insurance company £600 to sort just his car

Mondeo goes in on Monday to be repaired, ill need to take a couple of pics of it, it really aint that bad, youd hardly notice from a distance

been working on the Fiesta again, trying to get it finished for the Crail event

bought a digital SPA oil pressure and oil tempreture guage, great piece of kit, and lights up different colours for what mood your in :D :D

I want to protect the engine, so have fitted a mofied oil pressure switch that connects to the large rectangular light so if oil pressure drops , it will give me a warning, also the guage has oil pressure and temp and again you can adjust setpionts on the guage to give a warning when you exceed the parameters set

nearly all finished inside the car now, Ive bought a new alcantara OMP 350mm steering wheel to match the flocked parts, which ive not fitted yet , as i missed the postman today, ill go and pick it up tomorrow and get it fitted

Thanks Dave and Danny

Petrol if the big light comes on , check the oil pressure reading , and if its low, turn it off and coast into the side of the track, get out and over the tyre wall, and hopefully its just broken an oil line and can be repaired and back out for the next session :chill: :chill: :D, if not hopefully I could save the engine from any serious damage by not driving it until the conrod comes through the block

Not had a look on here for a while... but awesome work as always!

Given me some good ideas! Mainly the panel you added to the dash over the heater vent... and actually love the footplates!

How much were the doorcards? Might just make some with ally and use that carbon wrap youve been using

Nice guage, like your "what to do when the light comes on" lol.
Shame about the mondeo, might not be bad but bumps are such an inconvenience.

You had a 3door cossie aswel? What is your car history because all i know of is your escos and what you have now lol.

Paul the doorcards werent cheap, best to phone Raj for a quote, but its another alternative with the ally cards and film

glad your liking the inside of the car,

Louismiester ive had plenty cars in my time, first car was a vauxhall cavalier my dad bought me, i had it 2 days and blew it up, first and last vauxhall ive owned :lolz:

Ive had xr3s series 1 turbos, had 3 at one time, series 2 turbos, 3 door cossie, then had a phase of sensible cars orion and mondeo diesels, tehn had a wee phase with BMWs , still own a 320 convertible E46 which is going up for sale soon, then bought a couple of Shoguns, and had endless project and track cars over the past 15 years

Cars its a disease , i should have got therapy for it years ago, if it wasnt for cars , Id be a rich man :D
