They are going to reflash and tweak. costing me £72!! better than the full 300 though.

Very tempted to get a sports cat welded in so they can map it with the cat for emissions. But it all depends on how much money I have coming out of this and if one of two friends are willing to do it, and I don't think matt will be after all this so it's all on Jamie from ZSOC

Just realised its been 6 wewks without the car time flies.

Got pistons and valves, new bearings have been shipped today. Exciting times..

Who's putting the valves in the head? They'll need lapping you know. Such a fucking boring job lol

Righhhht...
Just stripped the head off again, only to see some remains in the pistons lol

Bottoms of 4 valves literally snapped off, and went sideways and imbedded themselves into the piston then pop back out again. Bent another two valves.
I have valves, I have pistons, the only problem is I might not be able to seal 2 valves into the head! Grr, will see if it can be re cut tommorow.

So yeah, on tick over, 2 seconds running and a quick knock and its well and truly mashed :laugh: and i've thrown my old head away

Will get pictures of the pistons tommorow, biiiiig dent.

Danny, Matt is doing it at his work tommorow.. If he can get them to seal, I don't know what he's doing really I chucked 16 valves and him and i'm letting him get on with it lol

Tommorow I will find out if we can get the valves into this head or if I need another head.

If, and only if this head can be used then the valves should be able to go in tommorow and then swap the pistons over and get the head back on and Voila! Will take two days ish though

But, as we can tell my luck is non-existant so i'm sure something will go wrong
