There really is no point in getting rid of the car. I'd only get another one and i'd only want it cammed again or something.

I love the Ford scene too much, the friends i've made, the shows they have. I love Mk1, mk3's and mk5's If I go to one of the older it'd only be worse!

I honestly cannot think of another car i'd go through all the hassle of breaking and selling off bits on this car for. its not worth it. if all these costs came up at once them yes, I would have done whatever I needed to and got a new car, they just keep coming up here and there and its annoying as I can't sell it or anything as i'd just lose so much money on it now.

Got my parents asking me how much i'd get for the bits and the car whole now and how much money I have.

They don't want to help me out, because "I never learn" which is fair enough, things keep going wrong and I keep having to spend money on it.

They want me to get another car that'll last, which in theory this should once its fixed might come to the stage where I think of selling it tbh just to try and get on there good side and have the help I need to save some damn money, as thats all i'm trying to do atm but this keeps breaking!

but the problem is I don't want anything else! The amount of money i've spent on it I want to get some use out of it, its a pain in the rear end!

look at it this way, the amount of money you have spent on it and its still broke, that amount of money spent on buying a good already fast reliable car would have been far better for you

I'm thinking fiesta ST, there not my favorite by any means, but I can keep it standard, still have good power and i've just seen one go on ebay with 0 bids 55k FSH £4800

I didn't let my mum finish earlier but what she was going to say was they were thinking about buying me a car, don't know how much or anything yet so if I made money off the ZS and then they put the rest towards an ST. it'd be better than nothing. The only way i'd do it is for something more comfortable inside, more modern. Boring basically, but reliable. they wouldn't let me mod it either. Meh

if you do choose an ST170 then they are dirt cheap atm, seen loads for less than £2k since i got mine.
Fiesta ST's are dropping in price also iv noticed but still around £5k but they are a tad newer.

I say puma this, get money for your cams, might not be as quick as your cammed 1.6 but will be quicker than a standard 1.6 and be reliable as its essentially running how ford intended i.e no cams, etc

See what my options are tommorow. Just noticed 170's are cheap but just don't like the look of them particularly.

i love the look of my 170, thought you would as it shares similar design to the front of the mk5, ahh well each to there own.

if your comes back fixed youll just have to keep checking it to make sure mistakes arent made again.

I don't dislike it, I just don't like how big focus's are, or the rear end and that. Something to keep in mind though depending on budget tbh!

Don't love the look of an ST either. but I would just be happier with one if you know what I mean, there quite cheap with low miles and FSH and only about 6 years old.

Am contemplating many things at the moment! Car might come back with standard cams. then look at selling it
