got 2 nice little mods coming for this, and one big one :D

the big one if you havent notice around the forum is phils Gmax kit hes literally just removed from his Si

it is a 60mm kit, i shall try the 60mm first, if i dont like it and/or scrubs like mad ill fir my 30mm springs to it, remember i have 195/50/15s so it probably will

im picking two new rainexperts up tomorrow (newish) so im not lowerign to a 45 profile anytime soon, plus i love these tyres and i dont think they come in 45s

one o the small mods is a replacement for a faulty item, the other is something ive wanted for well over a year now, quite excited about it

dan is letting his Si fal into my hands, ill repair the front and smarten it up ready for run around duties so i can take the 1800 off the road, its been needing some amendments and i wanna take advantage of cheaper fuel and tax bills to save for more power for the 1800

after a cracking day out with dan down cardiff and newport, went to see a mate nick of ZSOC had a thrilling ride in his sub 7 seconds mk4 1.7, glad it had a roll cage as i shit myself lol

which has made me think about more power and where im headed with the si, im going to aim to bring it up to around 150 through better cams and a remap, wont be anytime soon due to lack of funds and me taking on another car, but it will, then one day it will either see a T3 turbo bolted to it via decomp route or a set of carbs

the spin around in dans ignis today made me realise what a brilliant handling car is like, makes me realise mine isnt the best by no means, hopefully this new gmax kit should help it out and aside from that theres not much in plans for handling wise

your right about 60mm lou its going to be a pig so ill leave it on 30s, keep it safe and in the boundaries then ill buy 40mm springs in the future

what i got out of today was a pair of uniroyal rain sport 2's and a lend of a march 1996 copy of Fast Ford that has a tuning company made 1.6 turbo si, ill get a pic up soon,b ut it made 140bhp and 160 lbs!!! i fucking want!!!

they are 15s lol Zetec s wheels, you of all people should know :P

thats pretty good lou, but considering the costs compared to a 1.8 or 2.0 turbo its silly why you'd choose the 1.6, it would be cool and different though

Yeah I thought I remembered them being that (Can't tell, there black!!)

Needs slamming then, make it sit on them wheels so it all blends together nicely :) Give them 60's a go! Whats the worst that could happen??

If you need 45's get 45's I need some really, will make it all look much better. I think its the arch gap thats making it look like the wheels are a bit bigger :)

i dont have much gap :o

the 50s make them look big, but to be fair the spokes run to the edge of the wheels making them look bigger, my standard 14s look like 13s because of the dish :(

i could try them but the worst that could happen is a big bump knocks my arches off, it has happened lol

difference between yours is you dont have arch kits on :(
im worried man!
