I used to drive the peugeot partner 1.9 d, really slow but nice and peaceful to drive with superlight steering.

I do like it TBH.

Just wish it had a Dturbo engine, 6 months after this rolled onto the road they started using the HDI engines... if this engine ever gives up, or it becomes mine for whatever reason, a Dturbo boche pumped limp with hybrid turbo is going in



Anyways... plans plans plans.

This week, I shall be cutting the front screen tube off, as I cant run it with standard dash in place.
Also cutting the top door bar bits off.
And I shall be using one of the door bars to make a passenger side harness tube.. it'll be slightly thicker than the drivers side one but hey ho.

Then I need to get one of the rear strut tubes straightened up.

Sounds like a right mission to fit this cage, but its so worth it.

The front bit has to go in last, and through the passenger door!!

are the poly windows road legal then?

i imagine theyre quite flexible and insecure

petrol, some poly windows are stronger than glass
glass is fragile, not good when your doin 100mph on the roof

the only one that has to be glass is the front windscreen. the rest can be polycarb/plastic/perspex.

meh use sugar glass xD

The rear 3 windows will be poly at some point as I'll need to route a filler hole through one of them.

Not so fussed about the front as I like to open them.

As repairing my nsr arch issues is now a, inner arch, outer arch repair panel job, alone with inner arch patching and no filler hole.
