Thats dedication right there. My garage is about a 1-2min walk from my house and I cant even be arsed to go there sometimes

Yeah very true! I do actually spend a lot of time in my garage, generally cleaning the mess I have made. It needs doing again this weekend actually

I do actually need to give it a proper sort out before I do the engine change though, that will be this weekends job

I always try to clear up after a days work in the garage, so much nicer to work in a tidy environment, and its easier to find all the tools you need aswell if they are put away at the end of the day, rather than them ending up lying all over the garage

Yeah I know what you mean, Im usually a bit of a clean freak when it comes to tools and bits and bobs in the garage, but the last couple of days ive just not had the time so stuck it all in one big box, to me knowing its not all put away and in its right place is a mess. Also i need to sort out a few other bits too. I really want to go sort it out now knowing its not clean but im a few miles from home tonight

Admittedly at the moment there isnt loads of room due to having loads of crap scattered everywhere, but soon as I sort out all the shelving/storage at the back, the sides will be clear again, and there is still about half that much room at the front too

Exactly, I just feel lucky more than anything to even have a garage that I can keep my car in knowing its safe and also knowing I can work in there when the weather is a bit grim. May not be the biggest space in the world, but it does me.

Plus its good for storing stuff, which it is mainly used for at the moment, saying that, I do still use under my bed for stuff, got suspension setup under there at the moment

Rent is something like £40 a month, but I am renting it from the council so they do like to rip you off a bit lol. Either way, I dont mind paying that much for somewhere to put my car and a load of spare stuff

Yeah its not too bad really, thats how I see it too.

Erm bascially when I wanted/needed a garage I simply put into google 'garage to rent in gosport' as thats technically where I live, and then the local housing/letting section came up on google from the council, and I looked at what garages they had to rent, then luckily found that one which is literally round the corner from my house, I put in an application for it, waited for the application time to end, and I got a phonecall asking to pop down and pick up the keys/sort out the payment details too. Pretty straight forward really. Another alternative is to pop in to the council office place and ask if you can have a list of garages to rent, im sure they would give one to you
