Picked this up for €500 before xmas as a runaround for a while after having the accident in the Zs
Its a heap but a mate of mine swapped it for a couple of chickens, few goats and a car along with a few more bits
Elderly man had it before which the car probably never seen passed 2k revs and 30mph!
Accelerator very stiff and no responce to the lead foot!
Exhaust blowing too!

Got it serviced
New arb bushings
Gave her a good once over and a wee scrub (found used shot gun shells, syringe needles, sweet wrappers, half eaten biscuits) The usual shtuff!
A good 105mph and a bit of high reving actually cleared it out and has resulted in a better throttle respose!
Had to personalise the car even though its a runaround!
60/40mm drop and only cost €87 to the door!
Dissapointed it isnt any lower! But still manages to scrape over the notoriously high speed bumps at my local town!
Also a set of mk6 rs2k rims picked up for €100
Philips cde-2000, pretty good stereo as it has 2 pre outs, remote control, aux and usb connections all for €62

Changed a few dash colours too! not too tacky though!
Next on the list is to tack up or replace middle section of exhaust as the eejit before had cut off the end of the middle section to the cat where it had been held up with jubilee clips!
This car gulps down the juice!! getting worse fuel consumption than the zs! hopefully the exhaust is causing some of the problem!!
If not ill be selling the bloody thing!!
