Nice mod on the daily... did it on the si and its so worth it. Gonna do front footwell lights like on a mk2 Mondeo. Need to wire in a 20sec delay tho.

happy new year everyone

got another update on the runabout

after doing the rear head rest conversion i noticed the metal tins the back seats fabric bolts to was pretty scratched up, but lucky my fiancee grace works at a fabric shop so got me a load of black felt to do the rear seats and her manager said as its for me i can have it for free

and my fiancee only did it for me




so pleased it looks perfect and pretty factory

so i then fitted the seats back to the car and put my new genine ford tool/boot tidy in the car which my older sister got me as a gift for being an usher at her wedding in october which she had imported from the united states, so im not sure if you can buy it here, but anyway heres the pics





thats it for now, oh and my coilovers are ready for collection....picking them up tomorrowfor the si

might have been better to use a thicker material, it would act as a sound deadening in that case, but certainly looks better

Its funny how much scratches on the rear seat backs pulls the look of the interior down, I sanded them back and resprayed them on my si, made it look a million times better!

phil, thinking about doing the rear headrest conversion. can i take the 'holders' that the head rest 'prongs' go into, out of my old front seats and insert them into a rear? or is there a guide for it lol?
