As mentioned in previous posts the time has now come to move my si on.

Good points -

M Reg
Green
92K on the clock.
Good driver
Engine, clutch and gearbox are all fine
New battery just before Christmas
Good tread left on the tyres

Bad points -
MOT runs out in February
Temp guage dosent work
No tax
Varying amounts of rust on every wheel arch
Scratches of one sort or another on every panel
Hole in the bolster of the drivers side seat
The alternator is playing up a little so will need to be replaced in the near future

To sum up this is at heart a good little car but it is very errrr...cosmetically challenged!!

Realistically I suppose its a "spares or repair".
It will need a bit of work to pass the MOT but with its good mechanicals it would be a great fun cheap runabout for someone if you are not worried too much about cosmetics

The car is in Swindon, Wilts if anyone would like to come see it.

I need to move it on within the next couple of weeks so if not gone by then I will probably scrap it.

The price is whatever someone wants to offer for it really!

i know you have said it will need work for MOT, but how bad is the underneath rot wise? and what kind of work for MOT?

I'm actually very glad you asked that.
I had assumed the rot would be well advanced underneath without actually checking as I'm a lazy barsteward.
Just looked and it's not too bad at all. Yes it's not perfect but I've seen much, much worse.
All mention of spares/repairs now removed from the ebay listing.

Of course it is an old car and you never can tell but if you stick it through an mot you might be lucky and will end up with a great fun little car (albit one that looks a little rough 'round the edges)
