well the water pump gasket failed due to the water turning to gas and causing too much pressure while int he traffic for Ford fair, the pump was ordered the monday, it arrived tuesday, and i started to fit it later after work

was agaionst the clock so the missus come to give a hand

no more picks but i run out of time that night, continued last night and got it timed up and its going fine, put some antifreeze in it today and the water level is holding

today i fitted one of the pop out windows, i put the pressure on it with my slipper son insid elol, and mat outside was ready, all of a sudden it just popped out, swapped one pop out window for another

i think it looks great, nice and practical also

lol, yea just adds tot he effect each time you ding it :Q

fitted the drivers pop out to day, so im happy with that

teased myself with one of the arches, im gonna start spraying these up VERY soon as i just cant weait any longer

got a small list of things to paint, im gonna try and get through them all over the next week, now i know i can make the laquer smooth as a babies ass using some 1200 and cutting compound and my leccy mop, as ive done with the lower front of my door

- paint rust up ont he back of the door/panel
- paint rust over the arch
- paint the Xr skirts/arches and fit
- paint mirror casings
- paint rear window pins satin
- buy and paint a replacement fog surround and fit
- buy and paint a RS bonnet and fit (will probs be professionally done as its very easy to spot blemishes in a bonnet)

me and matt went for a trip to margam park and took some nice pictures in the nice weather, he has loads with his proper camera, im sure he will upload soon

think i took enough :rolleyes:

not sure what dyno they got.

its 35 quid plus 5 if your car is 4x4, but we are ok for that.

not sure if non fords are allowed yet though.

if not i fancy trying to organise a little get together down south wales tuning, which used to be hyeline performance, jap car tuning specialist in caerphilly. they have a brand new dyno dynamics dyno.

i know you lads will come and my mate wants his mini cooper s on the dyno as well. my other mate will bring his focus st and the other may bring his fiesta st. so thats 5 already.

we could get jason to put his clio valver on as well kris..

big thanks to AWOL for sending me a spare MAF plug and wire

so set about fitting it, few snips and solders, less than 30 mins later im done

a relief as the wires were franked

lighter is the part that goes in the socket
