Yep, and can be inaccurate too sometimes. Hows all this going to be set up then? Is it just a plug in and play jobby into the megasquirt ecu? I remember when I used to map kit cars, I used to go for a drive with the laptop making adjustments when stopped, people used to give me some awesome looks :lol:

or when two if us went out, i used to sit there on the laptop checking everything and adjusting stuff, going down the motorway with a laptop out was the life lol

That's basically how I'll be mapping.

Plans have changed already haha

The screen I was looking at is a little out dated now, and I could easily make a better setup.

Build a small carputer with ssd or laptop hdd with a touchscreen fitted in the dash, I can run megatune all the time to display all my gauges and can make map adjustments all the time via that setup. Obviously I can make it a media and satnav hub too, but my main concern is the gauges.

Best idea. Ever!

Nah gone pikey already.

Netbook in the glovebox, with correct power, connected to touch screen. Does job fine.

Just reading up on adding boost controller to Ms. Then megatune will display boost and I can adjust in car via Ms.

Does data logging, auto tune to afr etc etc.

Wire in a camera for track day recording.

Beast.

The main thing is that you know about the problem, so you can sort it properly at some point when time allows rather than it remaining concealed and getting worse without you knowing that there is a problem in the first place :thumbsup:

Its getting a front mount, but hidden under the bumper as much as possible. Lol

T34 is likely too. Big enough?
