just a quick question about the stabilizer bar. does it make much difference between the 16mm and 12mm? (mine is a td engine so its quite heavy)

what mm are the si roll bars ?
my current suspensions doent have where i can connect the anti roll bars I still need to figure a way to connect them without replacing the suspension.

also planning to add the S bracket and rear anti roll bar (also still need to figure a way how to connect them without replacing)

still have to polish the top cover but will do that later when the car is ready, also got a much bigger intercooler and am currently waiting for the silicone pipes to arrive before I fit it.

Pretty sure they only made one size.
You could weld brackets on your shocks for them, easy to replace the shocks.
Rear arbs you need a beam for it, could maybe mod a standard one tho.

You upped the fueling and boost? Don't go above 22psi lol
Turn inner pump screw 90 degrees.
I got 105bhp and 180ftlbs out of mine.

it has a bosh fuel pump and with bigger turbo ... used to run on 30psi :p I think that it is about 120-130bhp

ye probably I will weld but first I need to have the parts before I can begin hehe.

is there any special purpose why the S bracket has like a form of an S ? or can I just use a normal heavy duty pipe ?

Think it was just made like that due to the mounting position.

In theory you could just make one up yourself.

If your car doesnt have the captive nuts you'll have to fit some into the holes to bolt something up.

With regards to the 30psi & 120-130bhp.. I want to see it RR'd to prove it, everybody asumes they can produce that power, but I have yet to see anything RR'd above mine (admitedly mine was the lucas pump)

pov spec fiestas had a 12mm front arb, no rear obviously

16v si and other sporty models had the 16mm front bar and 16/18mm rear (18 im sure)



anything planned next dave?

Poverty spce didnt have any anti roll bars on them mate

And the rear ARB is 20mm in diameter

In terms of plans, just drive it as the daily for the worst of the weather ready for the si to come back on the road in the spring

Need to put a new front panel on her when she comes off the road in the spring

Other than that, just enjoy the HCS tappet rattler engine

I know my sisters old mid spec 1.3 mk4 had a front arb but not a back one, but not sure on the diameter

Is there any sort of chance you could nock up a guide to replacinf the basic panels like sills, front wings and front and rear valances?
Basically where to cut and weld them? And would you paint them once fitted or before?

Fair enough, there are a couple of nice ones on the scene, but they are severe exceptions
