lol dont be nieve yourself, your car has rust so do so many mk4s and mk5s, under and on the panels

mines needed welding once, in its entire life, and the hole was so small i couldnt even get my little finger in it (thats what she said...)


mind you i will be needing a new wing and a new passengers sill in the next few years, due to rust


but again nothing a mk5 is free from, just need to find a good one same as any car

there is literally no point getting another car, would have to start the whole modifying process again, waste loads of money blah blah blah.

dont know why its even being spoken about lol

just get the engine sorted, the plans you said about to me for it seem good, and we all know you love this car so stick with it and get it fixed

sleeman puma engines really aint more tunable, theyre restricted big time, im far more impressed with the 1600 SE than the 1.7, over rated engines


plus like chris said, all he needs at most is a new engine and swap the cams over, puma engines need the engine, loom, driveshafts, ecu inlet manifold, engine mount etc etc

many people think they can obtain what ford did with the racing puma and do a remap, cams exhaust and fit the better inlet, yet they dont see past 150...

chris has achieved that with just cams and a remap more or less, standard tiny inlet...

theyre bad for it, like butter them engines, someone's successfully turbo'd a 1.7 but has to keep it at 7psi and has the full works, forged pistons etc

jony these engine do more than 80k! lol

my mates done 128k, although it was slow as fuk, i could play with it bobbing on and off the throttle in both the arosa and the iggy. however it was quicker than a mk6 zs. lol
