Well folks the works beginning on the respray. Just a refresh spray for Tor mallard green. Kymie86's bro leading the way.

First step, marking up all the dents, scratches and marks on current paintwork.

Thanks Well i'm all new to this but what i want to is the car lowered, sound system needs to be put in but i actually love listening to the engine lol. Might get some new wheels. Induction kit, colour code the door handles, tidy it up a bit. Ooo and maybe some Xr2i skirting? The list seems be getting longer by day. Going to need Phils help with this as i'm a newbie!

Sounds like a good start.

You will have a list the size of a small country within a week of Phils and this sites influence.

You start to priorities and think of more realistic goals and it'll all come together

Does look nice Andy Bit high on the rear end though! What suspension is on that? Even Si suspension shouldnt be THAT high. As long as you get it lowered soon thats all that matters lol.

Si's have standard fiesta springs anyway so it wont be any higher than a 1.1 pov spec, its the shocks that are different to the other models (expect the Rs and Xr)
which will explain the stiffness


looks great, identical to mine when i got it, apart from its in tormallard green not petrol blue


RS/Xr skirts and arches is always a good move and i dont know of anyone that can say its not a good look on a Si

nto to be a copy cat but just look at phils car for inspiration, although he needs recaro's

put pictures up with the new sticker on!!! shows i did something that turned out right and looks good lol

and give me a shout for your boot build. i'll come round for the day!

I'm finally back on here after loads of badgering from Phil & Sam. I finally got around to updating my project. Theres still long way to go but what have I done in the past 4 months?

> XR2i Skirting now on car. (Black & Uncolour coded atm)
> Escort RS Bonnet plonked on.
>Ford HEADLIGHT protectors which my uncle was going to THROW AWAY!!! I was like "HELLL NO ILL HAVE THEM THANK YOU PLEASE!!!" Salvaged!
>New sound system (1 sub, 2 rears, 2 fronts) + new JVC CD player from my amazing girlfriend! Thanks Kim!
>Lowered 35mm (Maybe 40 mm - Phil to confirm?) thank you Sam for your help with that.
>1930's vintage horn (oooHHHOOOOOAAArrrrrghhh) to be wired in as separate horn for fun only hehe.
>Yellow front window sticker - (Ford) Fiesta Si Racing (Ford) - Few of you watched as Sam put it on my car with a debit card! lol.

Alex takes apart the engine to get new water pump on. Prooved difficult! Sam came to the rescue with some tools to save the night! 5pm-12 mid night! Mission! My dad comes to help, (he misses his Orion and Sapphire!)




I'll try update more regularly once i get more done. Once the respray is done and the clutch is sorting I'll be much happier with the car
