They are a common fault on the Si, They went on both mine, Dannys has gone once or twice and so has others on her, Onslack is a pro at fitting them iirc.

my clutch has been fine for over a year, and the cable, and i have no idea when it was last changed, not any evidence of it in my service history


i know the cables are a bit bad

id still rather a cable than the hydrualics, the slave cylinders can let go, pissing all over your clutch and flywheel costing so much more, plus theyre more expensive and harder to change than a cable, yet last about the same amount of miles/time

I think that rust down near the sill would poke through, best to get it sorted sooner rather than later.

Still, doesnt look TOOOOOOOOOOO bad

wouldnt advice painting the radiator, paint will lower its effectiveness

lol not that much resistance reduced. all the old motocross bikes for the 80's used to be like that with painted rads lol

bikes dont need anywhere near enough cooling as a car, most older bikes are air cooled, so no coolant/no rad

if your gonna, a simple satin/matt black, should keep it to a minimum id think
