those engines run on more oil than they do petrol haha

mine is on 105k, and has done 700 miles in 10 days and not used a drop

The only oil I lose is through the rocker. I've left it a week and it hasn't even used enough for the dipstick to move because its literally drops over a very long time

My dad had a thought the other day and the misfire I get at about 2.5k could be the fact I have slightly bent valves from when we nearly knackered the engine, not a good thought although im not 100% sure it had it before cams, but the cams could be making it work that bit more so that somethings happening.

Hopefully not! really need to get on it after christmas and start fixing the issues I have with it, i'm way to lazy.

Still unsure on where to go with this damn car. Throw some ideas at me, what y'all would do, I was considering superturismo's in a grey the other day when I woke up, madness. so anything considered, but the roof stays! Also got RST vents to fit eventually, still unsure on whether to do them purple or black, I think purple would be ok if the wheels weren't purple.

Still have a headliner in the back of my car to get suede'd need to do that soon.

The side strips gone don't look as good I don't think. Sort of breaks it up on the side having them. Might take one side off due to needing to spray one of them on wednesday and put a picture up of each side and see which is best before refitting

but yeah ooooooh. Will fix my oil leak Try and get hold of someone to help me fit my spacers. and get a compression test, will even see if my mates free to fit my RST vents!

how you going about the vents?

I think we're going to weld a bracket under the bonnet where the supports are ( so the paint don't bubble!) then start cutting... Apparently i'm doing the cutting! So I wouldn't mind having a spare bonnet to hand but meh. I dunno if it's against the law to drive with no bonnet.. But I say its better air flow to the engine

Even if I ruin it I don't drive much so it won't be seen should be fun

Compression test Friday, if I have bent valves i'm gonna be pisssssed.

If not then its off to Devil Developments for a map and engine health check as I cba to waste money fault finding until the maps been checked as the lambda was broken and it was running on 95ron when it was mapped and tbh, as some have said, I dunno how you map a car with a broken lambda to its full potential. Some people even reckon it's not possible

Keep side strips, sounds silly but with out them it would look too silver next to your black and purple theme.
The vents would work either black or purple.
Will be good to have peice of mind having the engine checked over.

I don't know, I think it looks good. But at the same time its not a very good PS, Will probably do it for real next week on one side so I can spray my strip anyway

Not my cup of tea, makes the black strips on the bumpers stand out and look odd, youd have to colour code them or sumat.

Yeah i've never really been a fan of it myself.

I don't think it will look good tbh, shall soon see. doesn't look epic in the picture but its always hard to tell as you need to see if from all angles lol

what i reckon you do is get rid of em (ignore everybody else) ... colour code the front n back (do a ps so we can see)... i know u sed ur not a fan of doing them silver but they wont stick out and it will make the body flow as one... init
