Driving along merrily just 10 minutes ago, when something went wrong. It's like something is jammed along the front axle but I can't see anything with my torch. Something is grinding (not rubbing, grinding) to the point it's locking fuller than the handbrake. I succeeded in getting it moved the last 100 yards but u definitely done want to do that again. Except I'll have to because someone took my parking spot where I could repair it.

It sounds like its coming more from the drivers side, but I can't see anything. Brakes seem to be ok on pedal movement (they stopped me faster than the grinding) and steering seems to slightly change the noise.

Have the bearings gone? Diff knackered? Ideas please!
